For this project, I worked within a group to design a physical museum exhibit with three touchpoints and an api driven web interface. As a group, we decided to focus our exhibit on the history of animation technologies and have it displayed within a film museum. I was responsible for researching what makes a good museum exhibit and from the data I gathered we were able to create a set of rules to follow in order to create a layout that was neither restrictive nor without guidance for users walking around. I created the initial layout map that was later expanded into multiple rooms in order to give each touchpoint its own room and time in history. I then spearheaded the first touchpoint in the exhibit in order to create an early stage flipbook based station that allowed users to understand how early animations were created. This station would then allow users to keep a piece of the exhibit in the form of their own flipbook and keep them interacting with the exhibit even outside of the physical setup itself. We finished of this project by creating an exhibit walkthrough in Minecraft to visually display each touchpoint and how they would work.
